How to phone / fax abroad.
A product by Wajens Internet Group

Phoning or faxing, is up to date done exactly the same way. Dialling the International access code, local Country code, local area code, and then local telephone number. How do you find all these numbers?

      Let us give an example:

USA          (+ 1)     (white pages)   Info USA (searchamerica)

USA:              E.g. is the country where we want to find a telephone number. (The data base where we are                       looking, does not have to be in the US).

(+1):               E.g. (1) is your local country code. (This time the USA).

(+1):               E.g. (+) is your International access code. (In Europe this is most likely "00" ).

( + )                Telstar in Australia has made it very easy to find the International access code.
Just check this out:   (Write country names in English).
International access code, country code, and local time anywhere in the world.

            E.g. From: Norway    to: Bahrain.

If we want to dial USA from Norway, we are dialling:   00 - 1 - area - telephone number

International access code: ( 00 ) local country code: ( 1 ) area code, and local telephone number.

(white pages)                            Here, we can find area code and telephone number. (For the US).

Info USA (searchamerica)          Here, information about the data base can be found.

      Dialling Stockholm from Norway gives us: 00 - 46 - (0)8 - local number.
When the local area code starts with "0", we do not dial this Zero, in 99% of the cases.
The remaining 1%, we have listed under: Info "Country".
